Who We Are

The South Palo Alto Food Closet was started in the late 1970's by a group of local churches when they saw that so many people in Palo Alto who were having a hard time making the money stretch through the entire month.
We are a partner agency with
Second Harvest Food Bank.

How to get food

If you live in Palo Alto and fall within the income guidelines that are put out by the USDA (check under the How to Qualify tab) and need food assistance, please email us at southpaloaltofoodcloset@gmail.com.  

You must email for appointment.

Raise money at a dinner party or from your company.

Food Drop-Off

We take food donations that are unopened and not expired each day M-F between 1:30- 4:00.  Just come by and ring our doorbell!
